    Once the ceramic shell has dried, it is placed in a kiln to harden. This process strengthens the mold. It also melts the wax inside. This leaves a hollow cavity to be filled with molten metal.

    Pouring the Metal

    After the mold has been created and cooled, it’s time for the most exciting part – pouring the molten metal into the mold! The metal used depends on the object being cast. Common metals for precision casting are stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum.

    The metal is heated to an extremely high temperature until it’s in a liquid state. It’s then carefully poured into the mold using specialized equipment to ensure no air bubbles or imperfections are present in the final product. This has no environmental impact and is safe for health.

    Cooling and Finishing

    Once the mold has been filled with molten metal, it’s left to cool down and solidify. This cooling process can take several hours, depending on the size and complexity of the object being cast.

    After the metal has cooled and hardened, the ceramic shell is broken away from the object, revealing a rough version of the final product. The excess material is then removed through processes such as cutting, grinding, and sandblasting to achieve a smooth and precise finish.
